Ladies Auxiliary

Officers

The Ladies Auxiliary, founded in May 1952 by key figures Sister Lelia, Mrs. McCann Archer, and Rev. W.R. Radliff, has actively supported the First Care Health Center for decades. The Auxiliary boasts 28 members and continues to maintain its original annual dues of $1.00. The group is renowned for crafting popular items like embroidered dishtowels, which are sold at the health center and annual holiday bazaar, alongside other novelty items. Over the years, they have contributed over $400,000 to the health center, funding everything from patient care equipment to major projects like the Emergency Room Fund and the X-Ray Project. The Auxiliary meets monthly, except in July and August, to plan further support and initiatives.
